Jon Rouston

Jon Rouston is an up and coming wedding photographer in Nottingham with a superbly relaxed style that reflects his philosophy about wedding photography.  There is a huge emphasis on story telling within Jon’s photography, he is as unobtrusive as possible allowing him to capture the images as the moment happens.  The point of being unobtrusive is that you avoid posed images and you capture events without people knowing that you are really there!  The result is a wedding photo album that tells a story, one that allows you to reflect on different events on your wedding day through your wedding album.  There are always moments that you, as the bride and groom never actually see on your wedding day and Jon’s mission is to capture them.

Jon Rouston is a familly man with strong roots in the North Nottinghamshire area and is also becoming a well known wedding photographer in Derby and a wedding photographer in Leicester.  He covers the entire East Midlands area and his reputation as an up and coming high end photographer is growing rapidly.  Jon is a laid back man though, the pressures of getting the right shots on a wedding day don’t get to him which allows him to concentrate on getting the right shots at the right moments!  He has some great images of a variety of venues available for you to view from his website.

Simon Mark Whitten

Simon Whitten is probably the UK’s top wedding photographer and the photographer of choice for ’society’ weddings. A cool, calm and collected Yorkshire man, nothing really breaks the cool of this Leeds wedding photographer. As you would expect though given his outstanding list of clientelle, Simon is understated and almost secretive about his clients prefering to let his pictures do the talking. There is a wealth of experience here as well, Simon has trained in photography which is no doubt one of the reasons behind his climb to the top. Taking outstanding images and using every aspect of his experience allows Simon to remain at the top of his game.

Simon is a recommended wedding photographer in Yorkshire and has covered almost every major wedding venue in the area including Fountains Abbey, Swinton Park, Harewood House, Rpley Castle and many more. He is usually the wedding photographer of choice in the area and is often reserved many years ahead, such is the demand for his services. The quality shines through from the images to the amazing Queensbury wedding albums that are always showcased ensuring that your images arrive and are presented in perfect condition.

The Other Day!

The Other Day is the brainchild of Canterbury wedding photographer Rich Lehmann.  Rich is brutally honest about his philosophy behind the wedding photography with a clear emphasis on photo journalistic style of capturing the moments as they happen, rather than posing for static and posed images.  The idea behind the style is that you capture the story and the moments that would otherwise be lost.  This style essentially involves blending into the backgrounding to capture images without waiting for a pose or a look.  Capturing a laugh to a joke, a bridesmaid dancing on the dance floor or a best mans speech going horribly wrong without being intrusive is the essence.

Rich tends to favour locations within Kent and is usually found as a wedding photographer in Ashford, Canterbury and the Medway towns although he does venture further afield!  He does incorporate the family and standard posed shots though, no self respecting wedding photographer would be without them but there is a clear emphasis on capturing magical moments for a wedding album that tells a story!

Wedding Photography By Paul Johnson

Wedding photography by Paul Johnson

Paul Johnson is one of the UK’s most prominent and experienced wedding photographers with an outstanding talent for wedding photography.  Just looking at the first photograph on the website for this leading wedding photographer in London will provide an example of why Paul Johnson is an award winning wedding photographer.  There really are few wedding photographers that could capture an image that is all encompassing, stylish and classical such as the image of the couple in their wedding carriage.  Paul has a wealth of experience, one of the old school in the wedding photography world born into the industry way before the digital revolution and having cemented his craft within a dark room and not in front of a computer.

The style of Paul’s wedding photography is paradoxically, very modern.  Capturing images that reflect the events and the sentiments but with a modern and artistic technique is Paul’s style.  The images are sharp and crisp but with an almost three dimensional view that pulls you into the photograph itself.  As a style that incorporate reportage or documentary style photography, Paul is often seen as one of the leading lights in this field.  Paul Johnson is based in the South East of England but often works further affield from his main base as a wedding photographer in Surrey, he has travelled to many fantastic destinations photographing weddings for the rich and famous as well as being a regular at the major South East wedding venues such as Alexander House, Ashtead Park and Buxted Park.
